Indiana men’s basketball in top-3 for 4-star wing Vaughn Karvala

by

Indiana men’s basketball is among the three programs under consideration by Vaughn Karvala, a 4-star small forward in the class of 2026 out of Bella Vista Prep in Oregon, Wisconsin, who will announce his commitment on November 1st.

Karvala is the 18th highest-rated small forward and 43rd highest-rated prospect overall in the class of 2026, per the Rivals Industry Ranking. He’ll decide between Indiana, Cal and Xavier, per Joe Tipton of On3/Rivals.

Indiana has been looking to build out its class of 2026, which as of now only contains 4-star guard Prince-Alexander Moody. The Hoosiers’ staff traveled to watch Karvala play multiple times throughout the offseason and hosted him in Bloomington for an official visit this past weekend.

Karvala is a talented wing who, at 6’7”, could grow even further. He has enough athleticism to play above the rim and takes plenty of his shots from long range while getting up and down the floor, all traits that would make sense in Darian DeVries’ offense at Indiana.
