The AEW veteran took to Instagram to expose a vile direct message from an anonymous troll who told him to stop speaking on race. The hateful message didn’t hold back, delivering insults meant to silence MVP’s stance on Black representation in wrestling. But MVP didn’t back down. The DM, shared publicly by MVP, read:
“Stop crying about race. I actually may your agent had a show in Tampa. Stop being a f***** loser. If you’re so concerned about how blacks get pushed then change the way that people view you. Stop chimping out.”*
Rather than ignore the attack, MVP responded directly in the caption of his post, flipping the script with intellect and sarcasm:
“I don’t know if this is a real account or not. But these are the people that show up in my DMs ‘Chimping out.’ That’s a very intelligent insult ‘Adam.’ But I’d take a chimp over someone like you any day. Intellectually speaking of course. Perhaps YOU need to change.”
MVP made it clear—he’s not here to make racists comfortable. His decision to share the message wasn’t about clout, but a stand against silence. In the face of hate, he chose exposure.
