– Beloved Brooklyn Nets Fans Bruce and Judy Reznick Recognized for 25 Years of Passionate Courtside Support –
SPRINGFIELD, MASS. – The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced the addition of longtime Brooklyn Nets SuperFans Bruce and Judy Reznick, affectionately known to fans as Mr. and Mrs. Whammy, to its James F. Goldstein SuperFan Gallery beginning in 2026.
A courtside fixture for more than 25 years, dating back to the team’s days in New Jersey, Mr. Whammy is beloved by Nets fans for his spirited support and “putting a hex” on opponents during free throws. His late wife, Mrs. Whammy, was also a constant presence courtside, joining him at nearly every game until her passing in September 2023.
The Reznicks’ inclusion in the SuperFan Gallery will feature their memorabilia and personal artifacts, along with a biographical feature and photo celebrating their enduring passion for the Brooklyn Nets community.

Mr. and Mrs. Whammy will join a group of basketball enthusiasts who have made a profound impact on the game through their loyalty, passion, and dedication. The Hall of Fame has previously honored Jim Goldstein, the gallery’s namesake, along with SuperFans Penny Marshall, Nav Bhatia, Jack Nicholson, Billy Crystal, Alan Horwitz, and Spike Lee.
Established in 2018, the SuperFan Gallery was created to recognize and celebrate some of the most iconic and dedicated fans in basketball history. SuperFans are selected by the Hall of Fame’s SuperFan Committee based on several criteria:

The James F. Goldstein SuperFan Gallery, located on the second floor of the Basketball Hall of Fame Museum, showcases the unique stories, memorabilia, and apparel of these passionate fans. Visitors can learn about the inspiring journeys of these individuals and their impact on the basketball community.
