WT finished with a 19-13 overall record last season, defeating Lone Star Conference foe UT Tyler in the opening round of the NCAA DII Tournament before being eliminated by Lubbock Christian.
Over the offseason, Prock and company added Brooklyn Scurry, Abbi Holder and Canyon alum Kenadee Winfrey to the Lady Buffs’ roster to complement a solid group of returnees.
West Texas A&M’s home opener is set for 2 p.m. on Nov. 14, when the team hosts Colorado Mesa as part of the South Central Regional Challenge. That contest will see Mavericks’ forward Trinity Schlueter, a Valley High School alum, return to the Texas Panhandle.
