There were concerns the Utes would be scrambling on offense with Devon Dampier out at quarterback. However, freshman Byrd Ficklin played out of his mind. He has 276 total yards (113 passing, 163 rushing) with three total touchdowns. Utah put up 398 total yards of offense on CU, fueling Sanders’ hot seat rumors on social media.
The fewest yards allowed in college football history is -47 total yards by Penn State against Syracuse on October 18, 1947
Here’s a look at the first half stats for both teams with Utah up 43-0.

Kaidon Salter is 5-of-16 for 23 yards. The Liberty transfer QB has been sacked five times with a safety given up as well. Needless to say, this is one of the worst first half performances in Colorado history. They also have -41 yards rushing. We’ll see if they can bounce back in the final half.
