Michigan State football offers punter in 2026 recruiting class

by

Another prospect in the 2026 recruiting class has received an offer from Michigan State following a visit to Spartan Stadium on Saturday night.

Luke Jones, a Virginia Beach (VA) native, was the recipient of the offer from Michigan State assistant special teams coordinator Joe Begnal. A 6-foot-3, 220 pound punter, he plays his high school football at First Colonial High School.

According to his X account, Michigan State is the first offer for the special teamer.

A member of the Hammer Kicking Academy Top 40, Jones is also a Kohl’s kicking All-American. Needless to say, he has the accolades that coaches look for in specialist recruiting.
