Kai Trump, 18, the granddaughter of U.S. President Donald Trump, is about to make her debut on the LPGA Tour, the world's premier women's golf circuit.

The eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. has received an invitation from a sponsor to compete in The Annika tournament in Belleaire, Florida, from November 13-16. Kai Trump also recently launched a clothing and lifestyle brand aimed at empowering young women in the sport.

“It's been my dream to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour. This tournament will be an incredible experience. I look forward to meeting and competing against many of my golf heroes in my LPGA Tour debut,” said Kai Trump, now a senior at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach County and committed to play for the University of Miami in 2026.

"Sponsor invitations are an important way to highlight emerging talent and bring new attention to our tournaments and the LPGA," said Ricki Lasky, director of business and operations for the LPGA Tour.

"Kai's extensive following and reach are helping introduce golf to new audiences, especially younger fans, and we are excited to see him take this next step in his career," Lasky added.

The Rules of Golf are a set of standards and procedures by which the sport of golf should be played. They are jointly written and administered by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, the governing body of golf worldwide, except in the United States and Mexico, which are governed by the United States Golf Association. An expert committee composed of members of the R&A and the USGA oversees and refines the rules every four years. The latest revision took effect on January 1, 2016. Amendments to the Rules of Golf are generally divided into two main categories: those that improve understanding and those that reduce penalties in certain cases to ensure balance. The rulebook, entitled "Rules of Golf," is published regularly and also includes rules governing amateur status. In Italy, the Italian Golf Federation is responsible for overseeing competitions by enforcing the rules issued by the R&A, ensuring that these rules are observed by clubs, associations, and their members, and managing the resulting sporting justice, protecting their interests abroad.
