Cold weather expected for Nebraska vs USC night game

Fans at Memorial Stadium will have to bundle up for Saturday night’s football game between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the USC Trojans. The temperature for the 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff is expected to be 43 degrees with partly cloudy skies.

Nebraska is 6-2 on the season and 3-2 in the Big Ten. The Huskers are coming off a 28-21 victory over Northwestern last Saturday. USC enters Saturday night with a 5-2 record and a 3-1 mark in league play. The Trojans last played on Oct. 18, losing 34-24 to Notre Dame.

This will be the Huskers’ second night game at Memorial Stadium this season, following their 68-0 win over Akron in the home opener back in September. Nebraska is 53-11 in home night games at Memorial Stadium.

Saturday’s prime-time matchup will feature the first blackout at Memorial Stadium. The Huskers will wear black jerseys, black pants, and white helmets with a black N and stripes.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers (6-2, 3-2) take the field on Saturday, Nov. 1, when they host the USC Trojans (5-2, 3-1) at Memorial Stadium. The kickoff time is set for 6:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on NBC.
