The preseason seems like a long time ago now, doesn’t it? Except that we’re only just over a week into the NBA season. Things didn’t go as well as Celtics fans might have hoped, with the team dropping their first 3 games before winning the next two. So for this week’s survey, I figured I’d do a little social experiment and ask people if they’ve changed their minds about how the season is going to go.
Looks like 28% of folks said that “yes” they have changed their minds.
So to put this to the test, I asked a repeat question from the preseason poll we posted.
Interestingly enough, in last week’s poll, 81% of people picked the “over” while this poll shows just 45%.
So either a lot of you are lying (or confused by the polls) or there was simply a different sample set of people taking each of the polls. Probably the latter because for this to be a valid exercise, I would need to ensure that the same set of people answered the same questions both weeks.
Still, it is interesting to see how much those first 3 losses impacted people’s feelings.
