He regularly delivers one unbelievable play after another, but the touchdown catch he had on Saturday during the No. 1 Buckeyes‘ 38-14 win over Penn State was something else.

With just shy of 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter against the Nittany Lions in Columbus, Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin connected with Smith — they’re both Heisman Trophy candidates this season — in an incredible 11-yard touchdown pass.
Initially, it looked like a relatively easy potential interception for Penn State before Smith amazingly pulled it in with one hand before scoring. It was absurd, and that’s evident by Fox Sports’ Gus Johnson reaction on the call of the touchdown play: “OHH WHAT A CATCH BY JEREMIAH SMITH!”
