The Purdue swimming and diving teams swept a two-day double dual meet on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Oakland University.
The Boilermakers beat Cincinnati 234-19 and Oakland 225-126 in the men’s meet.
The Purdue women beat Cincinnati 239-114 and beat Oakland 277-76.
In the women’s meet, Purdue’s Kate Mouser won the 400 IM (4:17.84). Caitlin Hurley won the 200 free in 1:46.62 and 500 free (4:48.62). Laura Phipps won the 100 butterfly (53.86). Hannah Hill won the 50 free (23.17). Abby Marcukaitis won the 100 backstroke in 53.33. Reagan Mattice won the 1000 free (9:54.82). Keira Kask won the 200 IM (2:01.26). Campbell Scofield won the 200 fly (1:58.41).
Phipps, Hurley, Adele Sands and Hill won the 400 free relay (3:18.43). Marcukaitis, Meghan Sharma, Phipps and Hill won the 400 medley relay in 3:39.06. Hill, Phipps, Hurley and Ana Rojas won the 200 free relay (1:31.59).
In diving, Purdue’s Avery Worobel won 1-meter with a score of 327.45 and Daryn Wright won 3-meter (350.75).
Oakland’s Lydia Soldatke won the 200 back (1:56.09).
Cincinnati won the 200 medley relay to open the meet as Ellie Schrank, Joleigh Crye, Kate Mardis and Sonja Aarsvold got to the wall in 1:38.71. Crye won the 100 breaststroke (1:00.32) and 200 breast (2:13.68).
In the men’s meet, Purdue won the 200 medley relay with Dylan Burau, Jonah Lee, Brody LePine and Nathanial Thomas finishing in 1:27.00.
Purdue’s Evan Mackesy won the 400 IM in 3:49.62 and 500 free (4:26.06). Blake Rowe won the 100 fly (47.90) and 200 back (1:41.95). Janis Dzirkalis won the 50 free (19.83) and 100 free (43.41). Alex Hotta won the 100 back (47.07). Max Miller won 1-meter diving (427.50). Biko Hooper-Haviland won the 200 fly (1:45.84).
Dzirkalis, Hotta, Thomas and Burau won the 400 free relay (2:55.80). Rowe, Lee, Hotta and Dzirkalis won the 400 medley relay (3:10.38). Hotta, Dzirkalis, Thomas and Andy Kelly won the 200 free relay (1:18.90).
Oakland’s Karel Subagyuo won the 200 free in 1:35.42 and 1000 free (9:16.81). Chris Palvadre won the 100 breast (52.70) and 200 breast (1:56.77).
Cincinnati’s Ramez Diaa won 3-meter diving (370.70). Owen Chiles won the 200 IM (1:48.58).
