Here's the latest Giantsnews and buzz ahead of the 2025 NFL trade deadline on Nov. 4…

After initially telling teams they were not interested in dealing star wideout Jaylen Waddle, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Dolphins are now more open to the idea.
Miami parted ways with GM Chris Grier after the Dolphins' Week 9 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night, and since then, the organization's stance ahead of the trade deadline has changed.
Rapoport wrote, "Grier and the organization parted ways on Friday after nearly a decade, and interim GM Champ Kelly and the rest of the team's current brass are far more open to deals, sources say."
The Dolphins will do their due diligence and consider any offers for Waddle, per Rapoport. Although the team will prefer not to deal the young receiver, the Dolphins will consider any deal that blows them away.
Waddle was named as a possible target for Giants rookie QB Jaxson Dart by SNY's NFL Insider Connor Hughes back in mid-October.Â

New York hasbeen aggressively pursuing a wide receiver to bolster their receiving corps and give rookie QB Jaxson Dart another target, SNY NFL Insider Connor Hughes reported on Oct. 15.
The Saints' Chris Olave, Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle, and Raiders' Jakobi Meyers are among the names mentioned in the Giants' "big-game hunting" ahead of the trade deadline.
However, Miami is not interested in trading Waddle away, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
"Several teams have called the Dolphins about star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, and sources say those teams have been told Miami has no interest in trading him," Rapoport wrote.
"Similar to [Jeffery] Simmons for Tennessee, dealing Waddle would signal a look to the future rather than trying to win now. While things can change, it seems far more likely Miami would be willing to deal an edge rusher (perhaps Matt Judon, Bradley Chubb or even Jaelan Phillips)."
The Dolphins are currently 1-5 heading into their Week 7 game against the Cleveland Browns (1-5). It's been a disappointing season for Miami and HC Mike McDaniel, who won 11 games and made the playoffs in 2023 before dropping to 8-9 last season and missing the playoffs.
While the team wants to hold onto their young WR, who's under contract through 2028 after signing a three-year, $84.75 million extension, it's still possible a trade could be on the horizon if things get worse and they make a change at head coach.Â
"The challenge with acquiring Olave or Waddle, according to sources, lies in persuading their current teams to part ways," Hughes noted. "A directive from ownership, front office shakeups or significant draft compensation might be enough to shift the conversation."
