I want to start by expressing my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible opportunity to pursue my dream of playing football at the next level. After much thought and reflection I have made the difficult decision to decommit from the University of Wisconsin,” Reeder wrote.

“This choice was not easy for me. I genuinely want to thank the Badger coaches and staff for all the time, effort, and support you’ve given me throughout the recruiting process. Coach Fickell, Coach Tressel and Coach Borland thank you. I truly enjoyed my visits and the chance to get to know each of you and learn about the program. Your dedication and passion have made a lasting impression on me. Thank you once again for everything. I will always hold my experiences with the Badgers close to my heart.”

Reeder is the No. 566 overall prospect and No. 46 LB in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 28 player in Ohio.

KentuckyNorthwesternMichigan and Nebraska have all jumped in the mix by offering Reeder last month. Over the weekend, he logged an official visit to Michigan and the Wolverines are now trending for his pledge in the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine.
