Hearts were racing ahead of the NASCAR Cup Series Championship on Sunday, Nov. 2.
Austin Dillon may be William Byron’s rival on the track, but away from it, he’s just a man trying to help a man find love as seen in a now-viral video from this weekend.
In the clip, Dillon — who drives the historic No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet — was seen introducing Byron to Sydney Sweeney, who later gave a speech at the event in front of the thousands of fans at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Ariz.

Bryon, 27, who is in his eighth full-time season as driver of the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, was escorted over to Sweeney, 28, by Dillon, 35, who cut through a crowd to be in her presence.
They smiled and chatted briefly before the racers walked away.
“Thanks for the intro!” shouted the Christy star.
“Taylor and Travis would have nothing on y’all!” Dillon playfully shouted back to her.

The two-time NASCAR champion’s quip was a light-hearted comparison to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s relationship, which took the sports world by storm when their whirlwind romance began in 2023 and culminated with an engagement this past August.
Dillon himself is in a relationship. He got engaged to former NFL cheerleader Whitney Ward in August 2016 and has been married since December 2017.
Byron, meanwhile, is single after his longterm romance with Erin Blaney — sister of NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney — reportedly ended in 2024 after approximately four-and-a-half years of dating.

Sweeney, however, has been “causally dating” music executive Scooter Braun since September.
The actress was previously engaged to ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino, but they called it off in March. The pair was first linked in 2018.
