This will be the first Notre Dame vs Navy game in history to be played at night in South Bend. There is a whole lot of extra juice for this game now that the Irish were ranked #10 in the initial college football playoff rankings. It’s funny how we were looking at this game just a few weeks ago as a “needed ranked game” assuming that Navy would be undefeated and ranked. Now, given everything else that’s just happened, it doesn’t even matter. It’s just another shovel dig for the wookie life debt known as THIS scheduling agreement.
