According to Texas A&M athletic director Trev Alberts, the Aggies and Tarleton football have agreed to cancel their 2026 contest scheduled for Nov. 21 in Bryan-College Station, Texas.
Per reports from KBTX senior sports writer Travis L. Brown, first reported by Good Bull Hunting’s Robert Behrens, Alberts said the decision was mutual between the two programs. Still, they hope to reconnect for a potential matchup in the future. Neither team will be forced to pay any guaranteed payments or cancellation fees. That leaves Texas A&M with a gap to fill, with games already scheduled against Missouri State and Arizona State for next year’s campaign.
