LSU football linebacker Whit Weeks was listed as doubtful on the latest availability report for LSU vs. Alabama. Weeks was considered questionable earlier in the week, but as the game approaches, it appears LSU will be without its star linebacker for a third straight game.
LSU will also be without Weeks’s younger brother — Zach Weeks.

On a positive note, freshman tackle Carius Curne was removed from the report. That’s good news for an LSU offensive line that was growing thin after losing Tyree Adams for an extended period.
Curne started at left tackle vs. Texas A&M and will likely see a significant workload vs. Alabama, even if Curne doesn’t get the start. LSU interim head coach Frank Wilson said the Tigers were evaluating a few different looks on the offensive line.
For Alabama, tight end Danny Lewis is questionable, while star wide receiver Ryan Williams is probable. Five Crimson Tide players are listed as out, including linebacker Qua Russaw.
What is LSU’s plan without Whit Weeks?
With Weeks out, expect to see similar looks to the ones LSU put on the field vs. Vanderbilt and Texas A&M. That means more snaps for Dahvon Keys and Tylen Singleton, as well as Harold Perkins occasionally bumping to inside linebacker.
