The Lady Vols committed 13 turnovers and forced 26 ETSU turnovers. Tennessee converted 32-of-70 field goal attempts, 12-of-38 three-point attempts and 21-of-27 free throw attempts.

Second-year head coach Kim Caldwell discussed the Lady Vols’ performance against East Tennessee State.

“I don’t think that is necessarily the step that we needed to take after the N.C. State loss,” Caldwell said. “We don’t really have a lot of time in our schedule to fix it. We have a one day turnaround before our next game and then we have a little bit of break, and then hopefully we can clean some things up and start looking like who we have been for the majority of our preseason.”

Tennessee will next play Sunday at UT Martin in the 2025 Pat Summitt Heritage Classic. Tipoff is slated for 3 p.m. EST at Kathleen and Tom Elam Center in Martin, Tennessee.
