UFC Vegas 111 went down last Sat. night (Nov. 8, 2025) at APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, which featured Gabriel Bonfim delivering a second-round knockout win over welterweight veteran Randy Brown in the headlining act (see it again here). In the co-main event of the evening, Joseph Morales submitted Matt Schnell in the very first round (recap here), while Uros Medic destroyed Muslim Salikhov (video replay here).
Who He Should Face Next: Daniel Rodriguez
With four straight wins in his back pocket, Bonfim is eyeing a spot in the Top 10 following his latest win over Randy Brown. That said, he may need one more win to put him over the top. If he can get that over Rodriguez, it could do the trick. “D-Rod” is currently sitting in the No. 13 spot, with Bonfim right behind him at No. 14. I think this would make for an exciting scrap with the winner landing in the Top 10. Bonfim did call out Colby Covington, but something tells me “Chaos” won’t take that fight.
Who He Should Face Next: Jafel Filho
Morales won his second straight inside the Octagon with a submission win over Schnell, but has a long road to travel before he gets considered for a ranking spot. I wouldn’t mind seeing him face off against someone like Filho, who hasn’t had that many fights under the UFC banner. He is 3-2 inside the Octagon and was last seen coming off a first-round submission win over Clayton Carpenter just last month.
Who He Should Face Next: Mike Malott
Medic won his second straight fight after destroying Muslim Salikhov (see it here). Medic has been up and down in his UFC career, but he has his opportunity to lock down a third straight win for the first time with the promotion in his next outing. I like a fight between he and Malott, who is currently sitting in the No. 15 position. Malott was last seen defeating Kevin Holland, his third straight win.
Who He Should Face Next: Ludovit Klein
Padilla won his fourth straight fight under the UFC banner, extending his win streak to seven in a row after stomping out Ismael Bonfim (see it here). Up next for him, a fight against Klein might be in order. Klein is coming off a majority decision win over Mateusz Rębecki at UFC 321, moving him to 6-1 overall in his UFC career. This would be a great matchup between two surging contenders to see who takes a huge step forward in their respective career.
Winners: Christian Leroy Duncan
Who He Should Face Next: Ikram Aliskerov
Duncan has now won three straight fights under the UFC banner following his knockout win over Marco Trulio, bringing him to 6-2 under the UFC banner (highlights here). Let’s put him up against someone like Aliskerov, who has won two straight and is 4-1 so far under the UFC banner. Aliskerov has proven to be a very gritty and hard-nosed combatant, with his lone loss coming against Robert Whittaker. Aliskerov was last seen defeating Park Jun-yong via unanimous decision at UFC 321.
