The BNP Paribas Open is undergoing a major makeover.

Lululemon has signed on as the BNP Paribas Open’s new Official Apparel and Footwear Outfitter.

The combined ATP/WTA 1000 tournament calls the partnership “a meaningful step forward in the BNP Paribas Open’s mission to deliver an unparalleled combination of thrilling on-court competition and elevated experiences for fans traveling to Indian Wells each March.”

“lululemon is a natural partner for the BNP Paribas Open and truly embodies the spirit of Tennis Paradise,” said Philippe Dore, Chief Marketing Officer at the BNP Paribas Open. “From their high-quality apparel to their focus on performance, lululemon shares our passion for excellence and delivering memorable experiences. Together, we’re excited to enhance the world-class atmosphere that makes Indian Wells such a special destination for players and fans each March.”

Former US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez and former US Open semifinalist Frances Tiafoe are among lululemon’s notable brand ambassadors.

This collaboration will showcase lululemon’s athletic and lifestyle apparel and footwear at the BNP Paribas Open, including the company’s high performance, high style tennis gear that offers athletes innovative on and off the court solutions. lululemon and the BNP Paribas Open will debut an exclusive line of co-branded merchandise at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden next March, along with a fan activation for all guests in attendance to experience.

In addition, lululemon will outfit more than 2,000 BNP Paribas Open volunteers, tournament officials and ball crew in official tournament apparel and footwear each spring in this multi-year agreement. Lululemon succeeds Fila as official BNP Paribas Open apparel and footwear outfitter.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do at lululemon,” said Celeste Burgoyne, President, Americas and Global Guest Innovation. “Tennis may be an individual sport, but it’s deeply rooted in connection – and that’s why it’s been part of our story for years. Partnering with the BNP Paribas Open gives us a meaningful way to engage with our athlete ambassadors, fans, and guests who embody the values we hold close: staying grounded under pressure, moving with intention, and building community.”

Here’s the brand’s future plans for Indian Wells as shared in the release announcing the partnership:

As part of the new partnership, the BNP Paribas Open and lululemon will debut a signature line of co-branded merchandise. lululemon will have an expanded section in the on-site Tennis Paradise Shop, as well as a standalone retail and fan activation space in the Retail Courtyard of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. More details on the collection will be announced prior to the tournament.
Fans headed to Indian Wells in March can also look forward to “lululemon day”, which will take place on Sunday, March 8 during the middle weekend of the event.
