WWE brought a historic night for RAW in Boston this week. John Cena was in the building, and much of the night was themed around him, and for good reason.
The November 10 episode of WWE RAW went down at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. This was a big episode, because the Last Time Is Now Tournament kicked off.
Rusev and Damian Priest also threw down in a first-round match. This match went on second of the night, after John Cenaās amazing kickoff of the show. After a hard-hitting match, Rusev won with a Machka kick to advance in the tournament. He seemed excited about crushing Damian Priest, but the point was made that Priest walked into the match injured.
Shinsuke Nakamura and Sheamus tore each other apart in their match. This was the start of the tournament to determine who will face John Cena in his final match, so neither of them backed down. The two wrestled through a commercial break, and fans in Boston were all for the action. Sheamus was able to pull off his greatest hits, but so did Shinsuke Nakamura. In the end, The Celtic Warrior won the match after nailing a Brogue Kick out of nowhere.
This tournament is even more interesting now. Especially since John Cena just won the IC Championship. So, this is sort of a #1 contender tournament for the WWE IC Championship, if the Greatest of All Time can keep that championship until December 13.
John Cenaās final WWE match is scheduled for December 13, 2025, at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C during Saturday Nightās Main Event. That will certainly be a historic night.
