Carmelo Hayes has a ton of respect for Paul Heyman, which is why he wasted no time in shutting down accusations that Heyman is racist.
In a now-deleted tweet, a fan claimed that according to sources in WWE, Paul Heyman refused to work with Carmelo Hayes, wouldn’t look him in the eye during a Creative meeting, and instead pushed for Logan Paul to be part of The Vision. The fan went on to call Heyman a racist.
“Sources in WWE have said that Paul Heyman refuses to work with Carmelo Hayes, couldn’t even look at him in the eyes during the meeting in Creative and [Heyman] pitched Logan Paul to be part of The Vision instead. Man this fat pig really is racist.”
Carmelo Hayes saw what the fan tweeted and immediately shut it down, saying that he had no idea what the person was trying to accomplish with the post and that the claim was completely untrue.
“Idk what you were trying to accomplish with this b******* post. This couldn’t be further from the truth.”
Carmelo Hayes handled the situation calmly and professionally, once again showing why he’s respected both inside and outside the ring. At the end of the day, such blatantly false allegations can do a lot of harm to one’s reputation, so fans are glad that Hayes wasted no time defending Paul Heyman in the end.
