Iga Swiatek's partnership with Porsche has come to an end but the two sides ended it on good terms and there is still a chance that they will collaborate in the future, via Polish tennis journalist Dominik Senkowski.
In 2022, Swiatek made an impressive debut on the clay courts of Stuttgart and won the title without a dropped set. The following year, the Polish tennis star clinched back-to-back Stuttgart titles. As you probably know, Porsche is the main sponsor of the Stuttgart tournament, and the winner always gets a luxurious car as a gift. And after taking home two Stuttgart titles and two supercars, the Pole also became their ambassador in 2023.
Apparently, it was a two-year deal between the two sides and expired in June of this year. After becoming an ambassador for the luxurious German carmaker, Swiatek failed to win Stuttgart in any of the past two years – she was a semifinalist last year before exiting the tournament in the quarterfinal this year.
Swiatek loses one sponsorship deal
“Iga Świątek is no longer collaborating with the Porsche brand. – Iga's contract with Porsche ended in the middle of this year. It was certainly a valuable partnership, which is why both sides are open to talks and continuation in the future – Alina Sikora, the tennis player's manager, told me," Senkowski reported on X.
Umowa Igi z Porsche obowiązywała przez dwa lata od czerwca 2023. To było naturalne partnerstwo, gdy wcześniej dwa razy wygrała turniej w Stuttgarcie sponsorowany przez znaną markę samochodową

Swiatek is one of the faces of women's tennis and she has a long list of sponsorship and endorsement deals, including luxurious watchmaker Rolex, clothing and apparel brand On, Visa, and Tecnifibre, Lancôme, Oshee, Lego, etc. It remains to be seen if the six-time Grand Slam champion will partner up with the German carmaker some time again in the future.
