Kelsey Mitchell and the Indiana Fever pulled off one of the more surprising runs of the 2025 WNBA Playoffs. Despite missing stars Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham for the entire postseason, Mitchell led the Fever past the Atlanta Dream in the opening round before pushing the eventual champion Las Vegas Aces to five games in the semifinals.
Still, Mitchell had arguably the best season of her eight-year career. The former Ohio State Buckeyes guard averaged 20.2 points on 45.6% shooting and 3.4 assists for Indiana in the regular season. But her scoring increased to 22.3 points per game in the playoffs, before Mitchell was forced to leave Game 5 early with rhabdomyolysis.

Now, Mitchell enters the offseason as a free agent after her one-year supermax deal with the Fever expired. While she weighs her future options in the WNBA, Mitchell continues to make an impact off the court. And on Tuesday, she announced she will host the Kelsey Mitchell Basketball Camp, scheduled for Nov. 22.
Mitchell’s camp will be held at her alma mater, Princeton High School in Cincinnati. According to the event description, “participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills, practice drills, and engage in friendly scrimmages.” In addition to instruction from Mitchell, the camp package includes a T-shirt, water bottle, autograph, and refreshments, along with speed, strength, and agility training.

Mitchell shared the post below on her Instagram Story with a message for her fans.
“YOOOO, Cincinnati!🤎,” Mitchell wrote. “bring the YOUTH and lock in on a SPOT. i GUARANTEE my best all camp! 😎🤩💪🏾”
While Mitchell makes her way back to her hometown, the Fever have some major decisions to make during the offseason. Only three players remain under contract, including Clark, Aliyah Boston and Makayla Timpson, while other key contributors such as Mitchell and Cunningham are free agents.
