So far this season, she’s off to a blazing start, averaging 21.0 points per game while shooting an incredible 68% from the field. Her efficiency and confidence have made her one of the most dynamic offensive players in the Big Ten and it’s clear she’s just getting started.

As a freshman, Prince averaged 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.7 steals per game, earning All-Big Ten Honorable Mention and a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. Her mix of poise, scoring touch, and court vision made her one of the toughest guards to defend in the conference. She also became the first Husker freshman in nearly three decades to record 50 steals in a season, showcasing her impact on both ends of the floor.

Prince had plenty of standout moments last year, including a pair of 24-point games against Rutgers and UCLA. In the Big Ten Tournament, she was electric, averaging 17 points and over five assists while shooting 75% from beyond the arc. Her performances earned her Big Ten Freshman of the Week and USBWA National Freshman of the Week honors.

Off the court, Prince has earned respect as both a leader and teammate. She shared Nebraska’s Co-MVP award and was named the school’s Female Freshman Athlete of the Year, proving her value extends beyond statistics.

Before college, Prince dominated at Elkhorn North High School, where she led her team to four straight state championships, captured two Gatorade Player of the Year awards, and graduated as one of the most decorated athletes in Nebraska history.

Now entering her sophomore campaign, Prince is the face of Nebraska basketball. A player with elite scoring ability, sharp instincts, and unshakable confidence. If she keeps this pace, her name won’t just be known around the Big Ten, it’ll be recognized nationwide.

So if you haven’t yet, keep an eye on Britt Prince because she’s not just Nebraska’s future, she’s one of the next big names in college basketball.
