WOLFFORTH — Once Addisyn Bollinger realized her goal was to play college basketball, she shot for the stars. That determination landed her in the Big 12 Conference.

Bollinger, a 5-foot-11 guard from Frenship, signed with Oklahoma State at a ceremony Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Tiger Pit. She was one of several Lubbock-area athletes to sign with college programs on the first National Signing Day of the school year.

“It felt like home,” Bollinger said. “The coaching staff and playing style is just everything I’ve ever wanted. … I’ve been really excited to see what I’ve done. I wasn’t really expecting it, and it became something really big in my life. I’m so excited to go to the next step.”

Three local players will move on to play Division I women’s basketball. Monterey had a pair in Texas Tech signee Ambrosia Cole and Ari Johnson, who penned with North Texas.

Frenship’s Addisyn Bollinger signs with Oklahoma State women’s basketball during a Signing Day ceremony Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at the Tiger Pit in Wolfforth.

“I’m just very excited to be with the Mean Green family now,” Johnson said, “and to have this commitment with them and just know that they wanted me a part of their program and just be part of that family. The coaching staff was really welcoming. They told me all the things that I’ll be able to do and play as a freshman and just how I will build on that as I go throughout my career.”
