The chaos didn’t stop when SmackDown went off the air this week—if anything, it escalated.
Cody Rhodes defended his Undisputed WWE Championship in the night’s main event against Bronson Reed. What started as a title match quickly spiraled into a brawl. Bron Breakker and Logan Paul hit the ring during the action, blindsiding Rhodes just as he was setting Reed up for a major spot through the announce table. The interference led to a three-on-one beatdown on the champion.
The Usos ran out next to even the odds, and the teams clashed in a heated standoff. That balance quickly shifted again when Drew McIntyre stormed the ring. He attacked Jimmy Uso and nailed Jey with a Claymore, leaving Cody vulnerable once again. After the assault, McIntyre shook hands with Paul Heyman at ringside—officially aligning himself with the Bloodline for the upcoming WarGames match.
Rhodes needed help after the show, with Jimmy Uso assisting him to his feet before the two exited alongside Jey. But the action didn’t stop there.
A post-show dark match featured IYO SKY facing off against Roxanne Perez. Rhea Ripley accompanied SKY to the ring, while Raquel Rodriguez stood in the corner of Perez. As the match reached its final moments, Raquel tried to get involved by attacking SKY from ringside. However, Ripley immediately stepped in.
Instead of letting the interference fly, Ripley grabbed Rodriguez and physically threw her back into the ring. She followed up by hitting her with a devastating clothesline, taking her completely out of the equation. The interference backfired on Raquel, giving SKY the opening she needed to regain control of the match. SKY capitalized and scored the victory over Perez, then celebrated with Ripley to close out the night.
With Survivor Series approaching and WarGames looming, the alliances and rivalries are becoming crystal clear—and Rhea Ripley isn’t waiting for TV time to send her message.
