WNBA legend Candace Parker is widely regarded as one of the greatest players ever to play in the league. And this week, she earned another huge career recognition to finally cement her basketball legacy.
On Thursday, the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame announced its inductees for the class of 2026. Parker was among those selected, along with fellow WNBA great Elena Delle Donne and head coach Cheryl Reeve.

The induction ceremony to honor Candace Parker and others will take place on June 27 next year in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Following her induction, basketball fans were quick to congratulate Parker, with many highlighting that it was a well-deserved recognition for the LA Sparks legend.
“Congratulations Can,” one fan wrote. Another one said, “Deserve it all!!”
“Congrats Queen. Well deserved. U the reason I started watching women college, Tennessee and WNBA,” another fan wrote.
“Keep it coming CP!!!” added another fan.
Considering her contributions to the game and personal accomplishments, it’s no surprise that Parker was recently honored as a Hall of Famer.

Candace Parker played in the WNBA for 16 years and established herself as one of the greatest players to ever suit up in the league.

She’s a two-time MVP, a seven-time WNBA All-Star and a one-time Defensive Player of the Year, among numerous other achievements.
The 39-year-old also won the WNBA championship three times, all with different teams. She got her first title in 2016 with the Los Angeles Sparks — the team that drafted her first overall in 2008.
She also won a championship with the Chicago Sky in 2021 as well with the Las Vegas Aces team led by A’ja Wilson in her final season in 2023.
