Raven just laid it all out during an appearance on the Kliq This podcast—and it wasn’t pretty. The ECW original and former WCW star gave a brutal rundown of everything his body’s gone through in recent years, from multiple surgeries to a sleep disorder that left him wiped out every single day.
It started with a simple question about his health, and Raven didn’t hold back. He said he’s been dealing with a serious sleep disorder that completely wrecks his rest.
“I wake up like 10–15 times a night and so I’m exhausted when I wake up.”
But that’s not all. Raven also revealed just how many times he’s gone under the knife in just the last few years. He didn’t sugarcoat it either.
“I had both knees replaced in ‘22, my shoulder replaced in ‘23, spinal stenosis in ‘24. So this year I’m hoping to have nothing. But yeah, you gotta pay the piper.”
While the wear and tear of wrestling caught up to his body, Raven credited one thing for actually improving his life—an adaptive servo-ventilation (ASV) machine. It’s a next-level CPAP machine that doesn’t just help—it does the work for him.
“I got the special one, the ASV, that actually breathes for you. It forces you to breathe the air.”
Before getting on the ASV, Raven said he couldn’t even make it past dinner without crashing on the couch. Since starting the treatment, that’s changed completely.
“I have not done that one time since I’ve been on this.”
Despite everything he’s been through, Raven still keeps things in perspective—and even managed to crack a few dry jokes about it.
“It all could be much worse. So I try not to complain about it, you know.”
Raven’s still got his edge, and while the ring may have taken its toll, he’s still swinging with every word.
