Gable Steveson is staying busy now that he’s fully committed to his combat sports career.
The Olympic champion and highly decorated wrestler already scored his first win in MMA and then followed that up with a knockout in his Dirty Boxing debut. Now Steveson has his second MMA fight booked as part of Anthony Pettis’ APFC promotion with the card taking place on Nov. 23.

Steveson is scheduled to face Kevin Hein in a heavyweight fight as part of APFC 21, which takes place in Albuquerque, N.M. with the card airing on UFC Fight Pass.
Of course, Steveson calls Albuquerque home for his training camps ever since he teamed up with former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Jon Jones to help him prepare for an upcoming fight against Stipe Miocic. Steveson has been mentored by Jones and counts his coach Brandon Gibson as one of the top trainers helping him making the transition from wrestling into fighting.
So far Steveson has only spent 98 seconds in the cage after he demolished Braden Peterson in his debut and he’ll obviously try to do the same thing to Hein when they clash in six days’ time.

As for Hein, he enters the fight with a 2-1 record in his professional career along with five victories during his amateur days. Hein is obviously going to be fighting an uphill battle going against a freak athlete like Steveson, who has made it clear that he wants to end up in the UFC sooner than later.
APFC 21 goes down on Nov. 23 from Albuquerque with Steveson vs. Hein serving as one of the featured bouts on the card.
