NEW YORK — Kentucky basketball forward Mouhamed Dioubate went down with an injury in Tuesday night’s loss to Michigan State and didn’t return.
UK lost, 83-66, in the Champions Classic matchup at Madison Square Garden. Dioubate’s injury occurred with 5:03 remaining. At the time of his exit, Dioubate had 10 points (on 4-of-9 shooting) and two rebounds.

During a news conference Thursday, coach Mark Pope said Dioubate had suffered an ankle injury. Pope didn’t expect Dioubate to participate in Thursday’s practice.
