Lady Vols basketball forward Alyssa Latham was not warming up for UT’s road matchup with MTSU.
Latham was not dressed to play and was sitting on the bench before No. 13 Tennessee played the Blue Raiders at the Murphy Center on Nov. 20 (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN+).

Latham missed the Lady Vols’ win over Belmont on Nov. 13 due to personal reasons, and coach Kim Caldwell said there was no timeline for her return after the game. Caldwell said there was “no update right now” when she met with local media Nov. 18.
Without Latham, Tennessee is down one of its four forwards. She’s also one of six players who are 6-2 or taller.
Latham did not appear to be in the building during the game she missed. She was not on the court during warmups and was not seen on the bench during the Belmont game.
Latham has averaged 13 minutes in three games this season. The 6-2 junior has only averaged 2.7 points and 3.0 rebounds, but she’s an important piece of Tennessee’s rotation on both ends of the court, especially on defense. She is also an efficient scorer and doesn’t force her shots. Latham has shot 50% from the field this season.

Latham appeared in 34 games last season after transferring from Syracuse. She averaged 3.9 points, 3.7 rebounds in 14.1 minutes per game. She shot 47.8% from the field and 31.3% on 10 made 3-pointers.
