Chris Weidman is out, and Tyron Woodley is in.
Woodley is stepping in for the injured Weidman to fight fellow former UFC champion Anderson Silva in a boxing match on the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua card set for Dec. 19 at Kaseya Center in Miami. MMA reporter Ariel Helwani, who is working in a promoter capacity as the host of Friday’s Paul vs. Joshua press conference, announced the news on social media. Details of Weidman’s injury were not included.

According to Helwani, Silva vs. Woodley will be a sanctioned professional bout contested at 195 pounds and scheduled for six rounds.
