Certainly not one to actually win an entire basketball game.
Arizona State was taking on UNLV in women’s college basketball action on Saturday.
The game was tied at 53-apiece when the ball came out toward the right wing.
ASU initially bobbled it, seemingly preventing a shot to try and win the game.
But that’s when Marley Washenitz came over and scooped the ball up off the court. She wasn’t facing the basket, so she didn’t know exactly how much time was left.
Rather than trying to figure out the timer, Washenitz just turned and fired. The lefty hadn’t even looked at the hoop before she let it fly.

A second later, the ball was banking into the basket for a victory.
It doesn’t get much crazier than this:
Washenitz could try that shot 1,000 times with no defense on her and never make it again.
But on this night, she did it just right.
With it, the Sun Devils improve to 5-0 on one of the most miraculous basketball shots you’ll ever see.
