Myktybek Orolbai tested the chin of Jack Hermansson after his first cut down to the welterweight division at UFC Fight Night 265 – and it didn’t hold up.
After a long stint at middleweight, Hermansson (24-10 MMA, 11-8 UFC) tried the waters down a division. Orolbai (15-2-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) landed a huge counter right hand during an exchange early in the fight at AHBA Arena in Doha, Qatar, and it was all over at the 2:46 mark of Round 1.

After the win, Orolbai, who moved up a division from lightweight after missing weight, said he has intentions for a championship future in the UFC. He said he must first, however, determine if he’s going to stay at 170 pounds or attempt to drop back down.
I love you guys, thank you guys,” Orolbai said in his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping. “All my fights are exciting. Only the start. I am future champion. I am humble fighter. When the cage door close, I smash.”
