Did Notre Dame gain ground in the US LBM Coaches Poll post-Week 13?

by

Notre Dame football had a very impressive win over Syracuse on its Senior Day, defeating the visiting Orange 70-7, but did that help its cause with the US LBM Coaches Poll?

After getting jumped by Oklahoma last weekend, the Irish remained just behind them 1108 to 1073, (OU 1099-ND 1064 last week) which obviously wasn’t enough to propel them any higher in the coaches poll. With all of the top teams above Notre Dame winning during Week 13, there wasn’t much movement at the top of the poll.

The bottom did see plenty of movement, see No. 24, as teams below Notre Dame are trying to make moves to be one of the last few teams to get into the College Football Playoff.
