A prominent NASCAR figure has died on Thursday at 60 years old.
Front Row Motorsports announced tragic news this afternoon. Performance director Johnny Roten is dead. He was 60 years old. The prominent NASCAR team member had been a popular figure in the sports world for several decades.

The NASCAR team announced the tragic news on social media.
“We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our Performance Director, Johnny Roten. Johnny has been an integral part of Front Row Motorsports for the last 3 years and the NASCAR community for well over three decades. His presence and personality will be deeply missed,” they announced.

Roten’s friends and family members are deeply saddened by the news.
“Sad news as Johnny Roten, the performance director of Front Row Motorsports, has passed away. Roten is a longtime member of the #NASCAR industry,” Toby Christie shared.
