Nebraska to host Oklahoma State transfer Carrington Pierce

by

Oklahoma State defensive back transfer Carrington Pierce will visit the Nebraska football program at the end of November. He will make his visit on November 28. This was reported by Rivals.com’s Tim Verghese last week.

Pierce is a sophomore and played his freshman season at Chafee Junior College. This was his first season of organized football ever, and he was able to produce. He recorded 24 total tackles and three tackles for loss. He had three interceptions and six pass breakups.

He enrolled at Oklahoma State in the spring of 2025. He chose Oklahoma State over UCLA, Nebraska, Arizona, Boise State, and Kansas, among others.

Pierce entered the transfer portal on October 20 and received an offer from the Huskers on November 12.

The program could certainly use defensive back depth, especially with Ceyair Wright graduating from the program. Pierce could be a solid option with multiple years of eligibility and could come in and play right away.

This could be Nebraska’s chance to land a defensive back they once coveted, and this recruitment could be worth following closely.
