Booker T didn’t hold back when discussing Adam Cole’s future in professional wrestling—and according to him, the signs don’t look great.
During a recent episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed the ongoing speculation that Cole may be nearing the end of his in-ring career due to repeated injuries. Booker expressed concern about Cole’s durability and openly questioned whether his body can take the grind anymore.
“Bro, Adam Cole, you know, I’m not saying anything bad about Adam Cole or anything like that, but Adam Cole’s been banged up for quite some time.”
He then took it a step further, reviving an older comment that previously stirred up backlash online—his take on Cole’s physique and bone density.
“I mean, every time this guy get back in the ring—bang—he gets injured, he get hurt. And I made a comment that, you know, maybe if Adam Cole, you know, took a little bit more protein, you know, got in the gym, hit the gym a little bit, you know, drank a little bit more milk, you know, got a little bit more dense bone.”
Co-host Brad Gilmore immediately reminded Booker of the heat he took for saying that before.
“You got destroyed for those comments. You remember that? You were body shaming.”
Booker didn’t back down, instead doubling down with a chuckle.
“I like that right there. Dense bone. You know what I mean? That right there is something you need when you’re in the wrestling business.”
Even with the jokes, Booker made it clear he takes no pleasure in seeing Cole potentially sidelined, “ Adam Cole, man. I hate to hear that.”
With Cole having spent long stretches off AEW TV due to various injuries, the conversation casts real doubt on whether fans will see him consistently in the ring again—if at all.
