WWE SmackDown airs tonight, November 28, 2025, from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, in a taped edition of the blue brand. With Survivor Series just one night away, WWE is getting a jump on the action by airing the traditional Survivor Series 5-on-5 elimination match on SmackDown instead of the Premium Live Event. Add in tournament drama, title tension, and a few Black Friday surprises, and this go-home episode is set to deliver.
The show begins at 8:00 PM ET on the USA Network, with international viewers able to stream the show via Netflix. Ringside News will provide full, match-by-match live updates and key moments as the night unfolds. Refresh this page often and sound off in the comments below!
WWE SmackDown Results (11/28/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
SmackDown began with a video recap of last week’s women’s WarGames storyline and the follow-up from Raw. Joe Tessitore and Corey Graves welcomed viewers as backstage shots showed Asuka, Charlotte Flair, and Team MFT.
Backstage, Cathy Kelley caught up with LA Knight. He was frustrated to hear he’d be facing another mystery opponent but kept it cool, saying he knew she was just the messenger—and even gave a shoutout to her mom in the crowd.
Jey Uso vs. Rusev
Jey Uso then made his entrance through the audience. Ring announcer Mark Nash introduced Jey Uso as he made his way to ringside, slapping hands with the commentary team along the way. Inside the ring, Jey hyped up the crowd. Corey Graves noted that while it looks fun on TV, experiencing Jey’s entrance live is something else.
Rusev then made his entrance from the stage. As he walked out, he looked into the camera and said he was coming for John Cena. Michael Cole noted that the winner of this match would face the winner of LA Knight vs. the mystery opponent in a semifinal match on Raw. Rusev took control early as the match headed into a commercial break.
Back from the break, Rusev had Jey Uso locked in a bear hug, but Jey broke free with headbutts and right hands. He attempted to lift Rusev but couldn’t get him up. Rusev went for the Accolade, but Jey escaped and sent him to the outside. Jey followed with a suicide dive and rolled Rusev back into the ring, hitting a Samoan Drop for a two-count. Jey followed with a spear for another nearfall. Rusev responded with the Machka Kick and nearly scored the win. He locked in the Accolade again, but Jey reached the ropes. Rusev mocked John Cena’s taunt before Jey countered with an elbow, hit another spear, and finished with the Uso Splash from the top rope to win the match.
Winner: Jey Uso
Backstage, The Miz met with Nick Aldis and asked to be reinserted into the tournament. Aldis explained the next opponent had to be drawn at random. Before the draw could be completed, R-Truth interrupted with his own raffle balls, but Aldis insisted on using his own. After Truth left, Aldis pulled a name, revealing The Miz as the selected entrant. Miz celebrated and walked off, while Truth returned to joke about the situation.
Cathy Kelley interviewed Damian Priest, who said his eye was healed and that he was ready to deal with Aleister Black. He addressed the strange tactics from Black and Zelina Vega, calling them unnecessary. Zelina appeared and reminded Priest how easily they got to him, referencing the previous attack that burned his face. In the background, Aleister Black could be seen watching.
Rhea Ripley then entered and asked Black if he was ready for WarGames. She said she needed to motivate Charlotte Flair but planned to return and share an idea with him. Black told her she knew where to find him before walking away. The segment ended heading into another commercial break.
