Wisconsin basketball fell for the second time of the 2025-26 season on Friday with a 74-63 loss to the TCU Horned Frogs.

In its second tilt of the Rady Children’s Invitational in San Diego, California, Wisconsin appeared overmatched throughout the bulk of the contest. Greg Gard’s group shot 34% from the floor and 25% mark from beyond the arc, and also accounted for 17 turnovers.

Outside of guards John Blackwell and Nick Boyd, who combined for 45 of Wisconsin’s 63 points, Wisconsin was unable to establish a steady offensive attack against the Horned Frogs. Starters Austin Rapp, Nolan Winter and Andrew Rohde chalked up 12 combined points on just four made field goals.

The Badgers have now lost two of their last three games after opening the season with blistering offensive outputs against non-conference foes. After Friday’s defeat, where does the program now rank in KenPom and ESPN’s Basketball Power Index?
