Ohio State women’s basketball enters AP Top 25 for first time this season

Ohio State women’s basketball (6-1) is in the AP Top 25 for the first time this season, slotting in at the No. 23 spot.

Last week, the Buckeyes went undefeated at the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Championship, picking up victories over Belmont and No. 21-ranked West Virginia to earn the tournament title. The Buckeyes defeated Niagara 130-32 on Nov. 30, setting program records for margin of victory and points in the process.

Sophomore point guard Jaloni Cambridge led the Buckeyes in scoring during the three-game stretch, averaging 20.7 points.

The Buckeyes lost over half their roster from the 2024-25 season, including team-leading scorer Cotie McMahon, who transferred to Ole Miss.
