The initial NCAA NET Rankings for the 2025-26 college basketball season have officially been released.
Alabama finds themselves ranked as the No. 14 team in the country according to the rankings The Tide currently hold a 5-2 record after a gauntlet of a schedule to begin the 2025-26 season, with loses to both Purdue and Gonzaga being the only blemishes on Alabama’s resume early on. Alabama will face Clemson on Wednesday to begin the ACC/SEC Men’s Challenge, as head xoach Nate Oats and his staff will look to continue climbing up the NET Rankings.

Labaron Philon Jr. and Aden Holloway have been elite in the Crimson Tide backcourt to begin the year. Currently averaging 20.6 points per game on 56.4% shooting, Philon has been a complete difference maker in Tuscaloosa following his decision to return to Alabama this offseason. Holloway has been excellent over the first seven games of play as well, as the former Auburn Tiger is currently averaging 18.2 points per game while shooting an impressive 42.9% from behind the arc.
Alabama will enter Wednesday night’s matchup with Clemson on a two-game win streak, as coach Oats and the rest of the Crimson Tide will look to keep things rolling in Tuscaloosa.
