Joshua Van’s last trip to the octagon was a memorable one.
Back in June at UFC 317, Van took on top contender Brandon Royval on short notice. Despite not being under ideal circumstances, Van went to war with Royval, winning a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus, putting on a Fight of the Year contender, and more importantly, securing the biggest win of his career.

Van (15-2 MMA, 8-1 UFC) returns to the cage this Saturday in the co-main event of UFC 323 (pay-per-view, ESPN2/FX/Disney+, ESPN+) – which takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. He challenges champion Alexandre Pantoja (30-5 MMA, 14-3 UFC) for the UFC flyweight title.
