One of FSU’s longest-tenured commitments has officially signed with the ‘Noles.

Darryon Williams is a 5-foot-11, 165-pound athlete who plays for Plant High School in Tampa. 247Sports Composite considers him the 600th best player in the nation (37th best athlete, 75th best player in FL).

The Seminoles see him as a wide receiver, which is where he primarily played this season for Plant with three games playing defensive back as well. Williams finished with 20 catches for 155 yards and six touchdowns while playing through injuries that hampered his production. He added 10 tackles and an interception on defense, and returned a kickoff for 90 yards.

He has been a verbal commitment to FSU since April 25, 2024. There was a period of time over the summer when UF made a hard push and things got interesting, though Williams eventually opted to stay with the garnet and gold. He also claimed offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami (FL), Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss.

From his official Florida State bio:
