Tanya Kalounivale: New Zealand international joins Trailfinders

Ealing Trailfinders women have signed New Zealand international Tanya Kalounivale on a deal running to the end of March 2026.

The 26-year-old tight-head prop arrives at the club as injury cover alongside fellow Black Fern Maia Roos.

Kalounivale represented New Zealand at the recent World Cup where they finished third with bronze, and has 27 caps in total for her country.

She is one of a record number of Black Ferns now playing Premiership Women’s Rugby also including co-captain Ruahei Demant at Bristol, Amy Rule at Exeter, Alana Borland and Georgia Ponsonby at Trailfinders and Liana Mikaele-Tu’u at Harlequins.
