Dana White confirms new contract extension as UFC CEO

by

LAS VEGAS – There have been no signs of Dana White going anywhere – and now it’s confirmed he won’t be at least for the next five years.

White, whose previous contract with UFC parent company TKO was to expire in 2026, recently quietly extended for five more years, he confirmed to MMA Junkie at a post-fight news conference Sunday following UFC 323 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It’s unclear exactly when White put pen to paper, but he indicated it was in 2025.

“I have been extended,” White laughed. “Five years. Another five-year extension, literally this year.”

White, 56, is nearing 25 years as the president/CEO of the UFC. Following the purchase of the company by Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta from Bob Meyrowitz, White was named president in 2001. “President” was in his job title until April 2023 when UFC parent company Zuffa sold the promotion to TKO Holdings Inc. White’s title was then switched to CEO.
