Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is once again staying put in Las Vegas, Nevada to stage UFC Vegas 112 later TONIGHT (Sat., Dec. 13, 2025), which will be the final event of the year for the promotion. Headlining the ESPN+-streamed event will be a Flyweight bout between Brandon Royval vs. Manel Kape. In the co-headlining act, Giga Chikadze faces Kevin Vallejos in a Featherweight affair.

The Flyweight division has a new champion after Joshua Van defeated Alexandre Pantoja as a result of a first round injury at UFC 323. Regardless of the how the fight ended, there is a new king in town with a target on his back. One of those men aiming for it is Royval, who would love nothing more than to get revenge on the newly-crowned champion after losing to him in his most recent outing earlier this year. His last loss prior to that came against Pantoja, so “Raw Dog” is very interested to facing both men again. Before he gets that opportunity, he will have to get through a tough challenge in Kape.
“Starboy” also has a loss to Pantoja, which just so happened to be his UFC debut back in Feb. 2021. Since then, he has gone an impressive 6-2, allowing him to climb up to the No. 6 position. He wants to crack the Top 5, and a win over Royval will earn him just that. He is coming off a technical knockout win over Asu Almabayev, his second straight such win, so he is firing on all cylinders at the moment. And he will need to be on point against Royval because he is one of the grittiest fighters in the division. Indeed, he knows how to grind out wins, tire out his foes and pile on the punishment. That said, Kape doesn’t mind a good old barn-burner, which means this could be an exciting main event to close out the year.
Original Card Vs. Actual Card/Injuries
Melsik Baghdasaryan was forced to drop out of his fight against Joanderson Brito for unknown reasons. As a result, Brito will now face off against UFC newcomer, Isaac Thomson. Also, Iasmin Lucindo suffered an undisclosed injury that bounced her from her bout against Gillian Robertson. Stepping in to fill the void is former UFC title challenger, Amanda Lemos.

New Blood:
This event will feature a lot of newcomers, so let’s get into it. After a successful nine-year career with Bellator MMA that saw him go 9-1 with the promotion, Yaroslav Amosov is ready for the big show. Along the way in his Bellator journey, he won the 170-pound title by defeating Douglas Lima and defended it against Logan Storley before losing it to Jason Jackson. As for Magny, the matchup seems fitting because the long-time UFC veteran has long been picked on as a UFC gatekeeper. That said, he is still very talented and could very well spoil Amosov’s debut and steal his shine in the process. This should be a good test for the former Bellator champion in his first UFC bout.
Former long-time Bellator MMA veteran, Lance Gibson Jr., will finally get his shot at impressing on the UFC stage against King Green. Gibson secured a 5-1 record for the now-defunct promotion, and went on to win two bouts on the regional circuit before getting the call up to the big show on short notice. Now, he will look to show out in his new home against a long-time veteran who is search of a much-needed win since he is currently on a two-fight losing streak and has lost three of his last four.

A pair of newcomers will debut against each other as Allen Frye vs. Guilherme Pat will throw down in a Heavyweight affair. Frye is undefeated (5-0) with four stoppages in his young combat career that began in 2022. Pat also began is pro MMA journey in 2022 and has won all six of his bouts since via (technical) knockout.
Cezary Oleksiejczuk has won four straight — including a 36-second knockout win on Contender Series — to earn an invite to the big show. His first test will be a tough one against Cesar Almeida, who has won two straight, going 3-1 so far overall in his young combat career. Like Oleksiejczuk, Almeida is a product of Contender Series.
UFC matchmakers are definitely trying to pump some new blood into the 265-pound weight class as we have another fresh big man making his Octagon debut in Steven Asplund, who is 6-1 since making his MMA debut in 2023. He has been fighting under the Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) for the majority of his career, racking up a 4-1 mark with the promotion. He will take on Sean Sharaf, who came up short in his own debut by losing to Junior Tafa more than one year ago.

Isaac Thomson is another newcomer coming out of LFA who is set to make his Octagon debut. Winner of three straight, Thomson has an over record of 9-2 with five finishes to his name. He will be taking on long-time UFC veteran, Joanderson Brito, who finds himself in a must-win situation as he has lost his last three outings.
How The ‘Prelims’ Look:
Morgan Charriere vs. Melquizael Costa will throw down in an intriguing Featherweight strap. Costa is the hotter fighter of the two having won four in a row, while Charriere is just 2-2 in his last four outings and is coming off a knockout defeat at the hands of Nate Landwehr.

Melissa Croden impressed in her UFC debut after knocking out Tainara Lisboa just two months ago. Now, the talented Bantamweight will attempt to win her second straight inside the Octagon when she goes head up against Luana Santos who, interestingly enough, was last seen defeating the aforementioned Lisboa earlier this year.
After kicking off her UFC career with a technical knockout loss at the hands of Natalia Silva, Tereza Bleda bounced back with a unanimous decision win over Gabriella Fernandes. She is out to secure her second straight win when she battles Jamey-Lyn Horth, who is fresh off a win over Vanessa Demopoulos.
Who Needs A Win Badly:
Giga Chikadze is currently on a two-fight losing streak and has lost three of his last four inside the Octagon. It’s a drastic downfall from a man many felt had the tools to fight for the title after winning his first seven fights under UFC’s banner. Now, he finds himself in a must-win situation fighting for a spot on the roster because a third straight defeat will not bode well for him. Standing in his way is Kevin Vallejos, who has won five straight fights, which includes going 2-0 so far inside the Octagon.

Interest Level: 6/10
Marcus Buchecha came up short in his UFC debut earlier this year, losing a unanimous decision at the hands of Martin Buday, so now he will attempt to score his first win when he battles Kennedy Nzechukwu, who is in search of a win himself after losing to Valter Walker via first round submission this past summer.
In women’s Strawweight action, Amanda Lemos — who is coming off a loss to Tatiana Suarez earlier this year — will attempt to get back into the win column when she battles Gillian Robertson in undercard action. It’s odd matchmaking since “The Savage” is currently riding a four-fight win streak.

It’s not the most stacked card for the promotion to end 2025, but it should provide fight fans with an interesting night of fights to close out the ESPN era for the promotion as it gears up for its new partnership with Paramount Network in 2026.
