Fight of the Night: Steven Asplund vs. Sean Sharaf
Steven Asplund (7-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) made his UFC debut a memorable one against Sean Sharaf (4-2 UFC, 0-2 UFC). The heavyweight newcomer showed off a stellar gas tank and high-volume attack that overwhelmed Sharaf en route to a standing TKO in the second round. It wasn’t all one-way traffic, though. Sharaf made Asplund work for it in the second round, but that’s where the debuting fighter also pulled away for the finish. Both fighters walk away with their first UFC bonuses for some extra holiday cash.

Performance of the Night: Kevin Vallejos
Kevin Vallejos (17-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) ended his debut year with a statement finish of Giga Chikadze (15-6 MMA, 8-4 UFC) in the co-main event. Chikadze had never been knocked out prior to this, making the bonus-earning finish that much sweeter. Vallejos fought three times in 2025, starting the year with a debut stoppage of Seung Woo Choi, and ending with his first bonus for the violent spinning back fist finish.

Performance of the Night: Manel Kape
The final fight of 2025 didn’t make it out of the first round as Manel Kape (22-7 MMA, 7-3 UFC) put Brandon Royval (17-9 MMA, 7-5 UFC) down and out with a vicious right hand. It was a finish that may just propel Kape into the next flyweight title opportunity. For his efforts, he also walks away with the third bonus of his UFC career.
