The IPL and the PSL will clash for the second consecutive time, and the players who went unsold in the Indian Premier League might be picked for the Pakistan Super League for the upcoming season.
The Pakistan Super League will also be played in the same window as the Indian Premier League for this edition as well. Several players who went unsold in the IPL mini-auction will likely be up for grabs in the Pakistan Super League for the upcoming season.
Unsold IPL players who can be targeted by PSL teams
10. Devon Conway
The former CSK batter could not find a bidder on this occasion, as he was snubbed a chance to feature in the IPL 2026. Despite being placed in the first round as a batter, Conway could not be of any interest to the teams.

However, Conway is a key player in the top order for any team, and the PSL teams might be eager to make way for the veteran Kiwi wicket-keeper batsman.
9. Jonny Bairstow
England batter Jonny Bairstow has played in the IPL over the years, as the wicket-keeper did not find a spot in the teams due to being too old. Bairstow was not handed a bid in the auction.
He will also be available for a grab in the PSL auction, considering his immense experience and his strike power on the ball.
8. Michael Bracewell
The New Zealand spin-bowling all-rounder emerged as one of the most vital players of modern-day cricket in the shortest format of the game. However, the former RCB star could not find a bidder in the auction and might be allowed to be drafted into any of the teams for the 11th season of the PSL.
7. Gerald Coetzee
The South African fast bowler missed out on an IPL contract due to his frequent injuries; however, he might be picked by the PSL teams for a season or so, keeping in mind that the IPL players who do not find a spot here often land in the PSL.
6. Wiaan Mulder
South African all-rounder Wiaan Mulder represents the Proteas only in the longest format of the game. Released by the Sunrisers from Hyderabad, he too failed to draw the attention of any of the bidders.
Mulder can be an asset to the PSL teams since they already lack all-rounders, and Mulder is a batter in any position in the middle order and can bowl quality medium pace for his 4 overs.
5. Daryl Mitchell
New Zealand all-rounder and veteran Daryl Mitchell was, anyway, part of the PSL last season and might make his way back into the league after being denied a role within the IPL, as he went unsold in two consecutive IPL auctions. He had drawn a massive amount back in IPL 2024 from the Chennai Super Kings but failed to perform.
4. Shai Hope
West Indies ODI captain Shai Hope is the most promising batter from the nation in recent times and has often shown glimpses of his exploits in the T20Is as well. However, Hope fails to find an IPL bidder and hopes to make it into any of the PSL teams.
3. Steve Smith
The Australian veteran Steve Smith still wishes to continue playing the shortest format of the game; however, this is the third consecutive time he has gone unsold in the IPL auction. Much like David Warner and Kane Williamson, he might also find his way into the PSL.
2. Rahmanullah Gurbaz
The Afghan wicket-keeper was part of the KKR camp in the IPL for many years but failed to find a bidder this time due to his poor form. However, after the loss of several glovemen from the PSL, he might make his way into the league.
1. Fazalhaq Farooqi
Another Afghan player in the list, Farooqi, is often considered one of the most economical bowlers in the shortest format of the game. After being snubbed for an IPL contract, he would now be hopeful of the PSL, which is being held in the same window.
